Great gig with Michael Hurwitz
I had a blast playing a private party on Saturday night with cowboy blues artist Michael Hurwitz. Two-plus hours of blues and cowboy songs old and new. I loved Hurwitz’s lyrics in particular, complex stories about ordinary men and women–new new traditional music.
I recorded the whole show for posterity, and I’ll be putting some of the recordings up on my site as soon as I get the okay from Michael.
I’m sure to be doing more shows with Michael in future. Stay tuned.

Michael, I am going through the MANY photos I took at the Colorado Cowboy Gathering. I need your address so I can send you a set when I finish. I would love to share some photos with you.
By the way, your cd is OUTSTANDING! Goodness!! It’s STUNNING! I REALLY enjoyed your music and I hope you come through the Denver or Colorado Springs again. Please take my email and add me to your list.
Like I said, you are something else! VERY SPECIAL! What an honor to get to know you the short time we were in Golden.
Kind regards, Reggie Ruth Barrett – Photographer/ musician.

Reggie, I’m pretty sure Michael doesn’t check this site for messages. I recommend that you contact him directly. Check his CD for contact info. Good luck and regards, RH
