…is Ian Anderson with Jethro Tull, doing the same song–“New Day Yesterday,” from the first Tull album–in performances spaced 40 years apart. Love it–love the simple harp part, so direct and blue, and the cool lyric and changes. Here’s the 1970 version from the Fillmore East:
And the 2010 version from Molson Ampitheatre in Toronto:
Always wished Anderson had kept up with his harp playing. Hear how free he is on flute in the 2010 performance…
