New amped blues patches for the RP355/350
I realized yesterday that I hadn’t done any patches for the GS2101 Saturated Tube Preamp amp model on the RP355/350, so I cooked a couple up. This amp model has a very hard, raw sound. I coupled it with a Bassman 4×10 cabinet model, and it sounds very dark, distorted, and bluesy with a Bottle o’ Blues mic. I did two versions of the patch: one with a slapback delay with delay level under footpedal control, and the other with a room reverb and footpedal control over the reverb level. Both of those should work well for the amped blues that the patches are intended for.
Everyone who licenses my patch sets gets free updates for a year, and I’ve already distributed both patches to everyone who’s licensed the RP355 or 350 patch sets. (This amp model isn’t included in the RP255 and 250, so there won’t be any versions of these patches for those devices.) If you’re one of my RP355/350 customers, drop me a line and let me know how you like the new sounds.
If you’re thinking of picking up an RP and think you might be interested in buying a license for my patch set, check out our store.

I’ll post some audio of the new patches in a few days. After that, I think I’ll get back to making some more extreme sounds. Or at least that’s what I’m thinking right now.
