Ron Sorin is the harp player on this cut, a very enjoyable Bo Diddly groove with a lot of free reeds in the mix–the lead singer is playing a squeezebox. The mix of amped-up harp and squeezebox is totally cool, the rhythm section drives like mad, and Sorin throws down a lot of big tones that drive the band hard, more bluesy than Magic Dick but with some of the same sensibility, especially in terms of using a single harp like a horn section. Lots and LOTS of fun.

Sorin is said to have recorded enough material recently for an album, some twenty-plus years after this video was recorded. I’ll advise if I hear more.
